They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to deliver school reform in regional and remote schools in Australia. The current activity is the Flexible Literacy for Remote Primary Schools program operating in the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia.
Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
The Australian Government Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet coordinate and develop policy across the Government in economic, domestic and international issues, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs and public service stewardship.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to deliver our Student Attendance and Case Management Framework as part of the broader welfare reform agenda in the region.
Foundations
Macquarie Group Foundation
The Macquarie Group Foundation provides support to community organisations globally each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing, predominantly in the locations in which Macquarie operates.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to support the Scaling for Sustainable Growth program. The objectives of this partnership are to allow Good to Great Schools Australia to access funding, develop teaching content, deliver content anywhere in Australia through smart use of technology, and support schools in their daily classroom activities.

Northern Territory Government – Department of Education
The Northern Territory Government Department of Education provides education to young Territorians from the early years to adulthood. It has a range of strategic policy, regulatory, delivery and support responsibilities including ensuring quality early learning and development programs to maximise student learning.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to deliver Class Domains’ Literacy and Numeracy programs using Direct Instruction and Explicit Direct Instruction pedagogies in remote schools across the territory.
Queensland Government - The Department of Education and Training
The Queensland Government Department of Education and Training delivers world-class education and training services for Queenslanders at every stage of their personal and professional development.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to deliver the Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy (CYAAA) in state primary schools in the remote North Queensland communities of Coen and Hope Vale.
Western Australia - Catholic Education, Department of Education
The Catholic Education system in Western Australia provides a dynamic, student centred approach to education for more than 73,000 young people in 163 schools and colleges across the state.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to support their schools that are participating in the Flexible Literacy for Remote Primary Schools program.

Dr Jeff Nelson is the leading indigenous clinical psychologist providing psychological assessment, clinical support and consulting to individuals, community agencies, and the health, education and justice sectors. Dr Nelson has extensive experience using and developing cognitive assessment tools and clinical interventions to inform programs that achieve sustained health and educational benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Dr Nelson partners with Good to Great Schools Australia to coordinate cognitive, social and emotional assessment, referral and provide clinical advice regarding Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy students.
Project KIDS - Murdoch University
Murdoch University‘s Project KIDS research program is committed to understanding how children grow, how young brains develop, the effects of prenatal experience, as well as illness, injury and trauma during infancy and early childhood. Professor Mike Anderson and Associate Professor Corinne Reid train postgraduate students to work with children and conduct specialist neurodevelopmental assessments each year.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to train postgraduate students to conduct assessment alongside providing clinical advice regarding CYAAA students.
National Institute for Direct Instruction
The National Institute for Direct Instruction help schools maximise student performance with Direct Instruction. The comprehensive model ensures successful, high-fidelity implementation of Direct Instruction, including continuous administrative and curricular support to schools and districts as they implement Direct Instruction programs.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to ensure the effective implementation of Direct Instruction in schools across Australia.

Queensland Music Festival
Queensland Music Festival is a state-wide celebration of musical excellence, collaborating with the best of local, national and international talent to bring every conceivable style of music to Queenslanders.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to design and deliver the Comprehensive Music Program, which is unique in remote indigenous schools and is comparable to a mainstream music program offered in city schools. This is achieved through the provision of year-round artists-in-residencies, teacher mentoring, a seven-day band camp and an opportunity for students to perform in public.
Queensland Symphony Orchestra
Queensland Symphony Orchestra is the largest performing arts company in Queensland employing 88 full-time musicians and the state’s only professional symphony orchestra.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to design and deliver our Comprehensive Music Program, providing teacher mentoring, training, professional development workshops. They will also provide our musically gifted and talented students with additional performance opportunities and mentoring opportunities in mainstream cities such as Brisbane and Cairns.
Professor Margaret Barrett - University of Queensland
Professor Margaret Barrett is the Head of the School of Music at the University of Queensland. Her research has investigated issues in the pedagogy of creativity and early musical development.
She partners with Good to Great Schools Australia to provide research and technical expertise to aid in program design and delivery.

The Centre for Independent Studies (CIS) is Australia’s leading independent public policy research institute. The CIS seeks to encourage and provide independent, fact based, and practical research and encourage debate that promotes liberty, the rule of law, free enterprise and an efficient democratic government.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to share knowledge and evidence based on Direct Instruction, Explicit teaching and broader school reform in Australia and internationally.
ImpaxSIA - Dr Annie Holden
Principal partner, Dr Annie Holden is an economic anthropologist with over 30 years experience in Indigenous impact assessment, consultation and project and policy evaluation.
Dr Holden partners with Good to Great Schools Australia to evaluate the effectiveness of Direct Instruction and Explicit Direct Instruction in our remote schools.
University of Melbourne - Education Research Institute
Professor John Hattie is internationally acknowledged as a lead researcher on effect sizes of education interventions. His research interests include performance indicators, models of measurement and evaluation of teaching and learning.
Professor Hattie and his team partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to help monitor the literary and numeracy performance of the students in the Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy since its first year in operation.

The Cape York Partnership Group Limited
The Cape York Partnership Group Limited is the parent company for the Cape York Partnership group of companies, which primarily is an independent policy and leadership group dedicated to reform in Indigenous economic and social policies so as to provide direct relief from the suffering experienced by Cape York Aboriginal people.
They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to deliver the Student Attendance Case Management project.
O-Hub
The O-Hub runs a set of programs that help empower families to take control of their lives. Working with residents in the community, the O-Hub focuses on increasing engagement in their children’s education, family health, budgeting and income, promote positive parenting and pride in the family home.
The Student Education Trust helps parents plan for education related expenses such as uniforms, musical instruments, books and much more.
Good to Great Schools Australia partner with the O’Hub to help deliver student welfare components of our 5C education model.
