This NAIDOC Week’s important theme highlights that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people must have a voice and enhanced role in decision-making in order to move forward together.
This is particularly true when we talk about education: Aboriginal families and communities deserve a much greater say in the education of their children.
Aboriginal families and communities need to be involved in education: having a say in the options available to their children and in improving education at a local level.
